Two seats are up for election on November 3, 2026
I am a U.S. Marine veteran, a 17-year Dysart resident, a father of two Dysart students, and a sitting appointed official — currently serving my third term on the City of Surprise Board of Trustees, where I was re-appointed by a unanimous City Council vote in 2022. I am running for the Dysart Governing Board because our schools deserve a member who has already proven they can govern responsibly, think independently, and put the community first.
For too long, a small group of party insiders — not Dysart parents, not Dysart teachers, not Dysart taxpayers — have effectively chosen who sits on our school board through a pre-selected "Golden Ticket" funded by tens of thousands of dollars in party money. The result is a board that is 5-for-5 members with identical viewpoints, unwilling to even discuss documented threats to our students' safety and our district's budget. Our community deserves better.
Our community is diverse, and our school board should reflect that. We need leaders who understand our local challenges, who listen to parents from all backgrounds, and who are committed to a single goal: what is best for every student in Dysart.
My campaign is a true grassroots effort, funded by my own pocket and fueled by countless hours of my time, because I believe so strongly in this cause. I have no special interests to serve and no political donors to answer to. My only priority is to bring common sense, transparency, and a balanced perspective to the board.
This election isn't about Republican or Democrat. It’s about our children. It’s about ensuring our schools have the resources they need to thrive, our teachers have the support they deserve, and our parents have a seat at the table. That’s why I am running, and that’s why I ask for your vote.
Moderate. Non-Partisan. Voice of Reason.
I don't believe partisan political agendas belong in our classrooms or our boardroom. The only agenda I'm interested in is what produces the best educational outcomes for Dysart children. If elected, I will examine every issue critically and make decisions based on facts and the best interests of our students — not the instructions of a political party.
Our community is diverse. Our board should reflect that.
Let's work together to move Dysart forward.

I am asking for your vote — and I am asking you to make both votes count.

What's at Stake Right Now
In February 2026, I stood before the Dysart Governing Board and presented documented evidence of three serious threats to our district: a $500,000–$600,000 permanent annual budget deficit caused by a proposed federal facility inside our district boundaries, a school safety concern created by high-risk transport traffic near six of our schools, and a 30-year liability under federal law. The Board had legal tools available to simply place this on a future agenda for discussion. They chose silence.
This is exactly why the board needs an independent voice. I will follow the facts wherever they lead — not wherever a party tells me to go.
I am not accepting donations. This campaign is funded entirely out of my own pocket — because I refuse to owe anyone anything. No party money. No special interest money. No political favors to repay. Just a Dysart parent who believes our schools deserve better.
My opponents and their party allies will spend tens of thousands of dollars on mailers, signs, and polling station volunteers to tell you who to vote for. I'm asking you to think for yourself.
