Two seats are up for election on November 3, 2026
For the past several years, the Dysart Unified School District has faced a unique challenge in its school board elections. In a community with over 135,000 registered voters, a small group of individuals, through a pre-selected "Golden Ticket," has effectively decided who sits on our school board. This system, funded by tens of thousands of dollars in political party money, has made it nearly impossible for independent, community-focused candidates to compete.
I'm running for the Governing Board because I believe that the choice of who leads our schools should belong to the entire community—to every parent, teacher, and taxpayer. It should not be decided by a political party.
Our community is diverse, and our school board should reflect that. We need leaders who understand our local challenges, who listen to parents from all backgrounds, and who are committed to a single goal: what is best for every student in Dysart.
My campaign is a true grassroots effort, funded by my own pocket and fueled by countless hours of my time, because I believe so strongly in this cause. I have no special interests to serve and no political donors to answer to. My only priority is to bring common sense, transparency, and a balanced perspective to the board.
This election isn't about Republican or Democrat. It’s about our children. It’s about ensuring our schools have the resources they need to thrive, our teachers have the support they deserve, and our parents have a seat at the table. That’s why I am running, and that’s why I ask for your vote.
Moderate. Non-Partisan. Voice of Reason.
Our public schools job is, first and foremost, to educate our youth.
I do not believe that partisan political agendas belong in our classrooms or board room.
The only "agenda" I'm interested in is what will result in the best educational outcome for the children.
If elected, I will bring a fresh perspective to the board, examine the issues rationally and critically, and provide a voice of reason.
I will do my best to make decisions that are in the best interest of our children and community, while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
We need elected representatives who put their communities first, not their partisan political agendas.
We need to bring people with different backgrounds and perspectives together and work collaboratively to solve our most-pressing problems.
Let's work together to move Dysart forward.
